Josephine Haworth

Kia ora, my name is Josephine Haworth. I was born and bred local from Pipiriki having grown up on the river all my life with my own family. My husband, Ken, and I own and operate our Maori Tourism business in Pipiriki also, leasing our old school premises and grounds from Pipiriki Incorporation. Our goal is to be able to expand our local tourism business enabling us to employ more of our whanau / whanaunga from the rohe (area) growing them into the Tourism Industry for the importance of keeping our small villages on the river surviving. Biggest achievement for us is being the owners of a successful Maori Tourism Business on the river.
